In Minneapolis, winter isn’t a gimmick, it’s an identity. While many teams stage a “whiteout,” few can authentically claim winter. Winter Whiteout is more than a themed game in an alt uniform. It is a cultural moment. This north star positioned the Vikings as a team that doesn’t just endure winter, but defines it. Our campaign centered on the belief ingenuity and originality is the dominant cultural currency of our time, creatively shaping everything from the brand commerical to the visual tone of the day.

My team led creative across the hero campaign spot, global social and digital rollout, and full-scale game-day photo and video production for a worldwide Christmas audience. The campaign built a custom visual world, elevated the culture of the North, and celebrated the true spirit of Midwestern devotion. At its core, the commercial positioned the Winter Whiteout uniform as a symbol that binds generations, with loyalty made visible and belief made real. Cinematic yet grounded, serving as both an invitation to fans and a warning to the Lions, winter is coming and there's going to be a whiteout. It presented Minnesota without the “Nice”, a symbol of unity transcendent of fabric and field.

Winter Whiteout proved that when strategic clarity meets bold execution, a single game can transcend the schedule and enter the cultural conversation. What unfolded on Christmas Day demonstrated the power of a cohesive brand platform, one capable of traveling from stadium to stream to street without losing its point of view.
